Warranty requests
Pladdet provides a 3-year warranty on all its attachments as standard from the date of delivery. This covers all parts except wear and tear parts. Exceptions are Westtech products and tilt motors, which have a warranty period of 1 year. If the product has not been used or maintained properly, the warranty will expire.

How can I make a claim?
Have you carried out a repair yourself on a Pladdet attachment that is still within the warranty period, or have you received an invoice from us and believe it is under warranty?

1. Fill in the warranty form below. The fields marked with an asterisk are compulsory. Once you have completed the form in full, you will be sent a confirmation by e-mail. In this mail you will find the details of your guarantee request and a claim number.
Send the defective part back to us, unless otherwise agreed. Always state the claim number clearly on the outside of the box so that we can process your guarantee request quickly!

2. Once the defective part has been returned to us and we have received your fully completed warranty form, we will assess whether it is indeed a warranty case. If the guarantee request is approved, you will receive a credit note for the parts and/or labour supplied.
If you carried out the repair yourself, we will send you a purchase order number so that the costs incurred can be invoiced to us.

What is reimbursed?
Our warranty includes the parts, which are reimbursed at your purchase price. For work done, we charge a rate of €45 per hour.

What is not reimbursed?
Hire of an alternative product
Shipping costs for returning parts
Travel expenses/mileage costs
